07 Feb 2024 Inaugurated the railway tunnel in Corso Grosseto in Turin with technological installations by SINELEC
The historic Turin-Caselle-Ceres line is now interconnected with the Turin railway junction and the national network, enabling a connection between the city center and the airport in just 20 minutes.
SINELEC played a key role in the execution of the works, taking care of the technological and safety installations related to the new urban rail tunnel of about 3 km with double track, a key artery for the construction of the connection.
Among the systems built, Sinelec was in charge of the lighting and fire detection systems, power wiring, electrical substations, emergency ventilation systems and stations, CCTV systems for video surveillance, and the installation of control room facilities.
Finally, Sinelec’s contribution also took shape at the plant engineering level in the context of the major urban redevelopment works that accompanied the work.
