Sinelec at the 91st IBTTA in Seattle, Oct. 7-10

The 91st edition of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA), the international trade show for the electronic tolling industry, is very close to being at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Oct. 7-10. Sinelec will exhibit again this year, at booth #111-113.

Sinelec has been dealing with toll collection issues for more than 25 years, and today, thanks to the experience developed working side by side with motorway concessionaires, the company stands out for its technological know-how and offerings. Sinelec is involved in the design, production and installation of tolling lanes equipment, data acquisition systems, toll plaza control platforms, data acquisition systems, station control platforms and data processing and transaction reconciliation systems, at financial level. Its solutions are used in more than 900 toll gates and process about €3 billion economic transactions for more than 1.5 million transits every day. Sinelec also is specialized in cutting-edge technology solutions for intelligent and secure traffic management.

During the event, visitors will be able to discover key innovations in the following areas:

  • Electronic Toll System: Already a leader in traditional toll collection, Sinelec has developed its “free flow” solution based on artificial intelligence, machine learning and 3D tracking technologies to ensure the highest level of accuracy in vehicle detection and classification under all conditions. • Advanced Traffic Management System: Sincro is Sinelec’s advanced traffic management system implemented on more than 1,600 kilometers of motorhway. Control center operators and maintenance staff can effectively manage daily operations and emergencies through its functionalities, optimizing both response times and coordination with third parties, such as, for example, law enforcement and emergency vehicles. The solution can associate configurable responses to each of the events detected by the several integrated field devices, setting-up multichannel communication to both road users and to all the stakeholders involved in restoring ordinary conditions.
